I like to check tokyofashion.com snaps from time to time. These are some I've saved over time, my favorite, so to say. I'm still at a age where I don't know which style suits me best or I can call my own, therefore I like to try different styles and I think that show in these pics I chose, haha. I like vintage, I like sweet and cute, I like grunge, etc... Of course I don't mean that everyone must be defined by one style only, but I do hope some day I will find the one for me, the one style I feel confortable in as my onw skin. Until then, I'll keep on trying.

Clinique

Lately, probably caused by the cold weather and stress, I've been having a few issues with blemishes. My nose and the area around it and my cheeks always seem flushed. My skin care routine is the same as usual, so I don't really have an explanation for this.

I decided to try different products supposed to correct this redness. Clinique has a range called "redness solutions" and I bought the liquid foundation and base. It came with two free sample items (eye cream and mascara, in the pic above). The foundation is alright, I expected more coverage though. I still need to dab concealor on some places and use powder. It helped a bit, but not really what I was looking for from a product especially made for redness... I will keep using it until I find a better replacement. The base is a sheer green that becomes colorless after blended on to the skin. I'm not sure how much it helps really, since it becomes invisible, but I will keep using it for protection sake.

The eye cream though is really nice. It's like a gel formula, it feels super soft when applied around the eyes. And it helped to bright up a tiny bit, no major difference so far, but an improvement to my Olay eye cream.

This was my first experience with Clinique and although I am not 100% disappointed, I'm not sure if I would purchase from the brand again.

Masami Nagasawa

I've been meaning to post about this since I started this blog, but every time I try to post something, I do not know where to start...

Well, from the beginning then. Somewhere in the Spring of 2008 I became a fan of Masami Nagasawa. At that time I knew her from a few films and dramas but had never really paid much attention to her. Until that Spring of 2008, that is. I saw her on the cover of Non-non, looked at the spread inside the magazine and fell in love. Nowadays, 4 years after, I think I developed a healthy obsession for Masami. I've watched basically all there is to watch, I regularly check and save all images I can find, I collect some TV shows she appeared on, read her manager's twitter almost every day and keep up to date with her news. My boyfriend is always making fun of me because I love her so much, but he also helps showing me some news or videos. I am also crazy enough to think I look a bit like her and have considered cutting my hair short 1000 times. Yes, well, we are the same age, born only 1 month appart, same height, same weight, same face shape and way to smile, whatever. This is my obsession talking, let's skip it.



I am aware that many people hate her and can't stand the sight of her, something to do with the way she speaks or something. Well, I don't have any problem with her speech, it's not annoying like some girls who try to speak like a 5 year old, and I think it sounds very sweet and natural on her. But I do understand that every one's tastes are different, for instance, I can't stand the sight of Horikita Maki, so there. While people think she might not be the best actress, I would suggest you watch The Last Princess and decide for yourself. Her recent play Crazy Honey was very well received with many appraises for her performance (which included a fake orgasm! haha).

Yes, I am addicted to Masami. And its been 4 years, so I don't think it's something that will die off any time soon. And finally I wrote about it on this blog, haha. Masami has a skin to die for, seriously, I wish I could have such a healthy glowing skin like hers. I've been trying to find out something about which skin care or makeup products she uses, but found very little... Does anyone have any scans on the matter?

I wish I could choose which pictures to share in this blog. I have too MANY, so hard to make a choice... I decided to post some more recent ones...

winter Yesstyle get items and new shoes

These are my get items from December and January. Since I am on a savings plan, Yesstyle's winter sale was really usefull. The clothes I got are nice quality and comfy for this cold weather, plus super cheap and cute! The only down side of Yesstyle is how long they take to actually ship the items... Last time even though I chose only "ready to ship" items, it took them 2 weeks to finally send it to me. The previous one took 1 month and only then did they inform me that 2 of the items I had chosen were sold out (after I had purchased them!) and I got a refund. Its a bit annoying to by stuff from Yesstyle, to be honest, but it's worth it because of the price and cute things. I've been buying from them for the past 5 years and its always the same with every order, so I don't expect much anymore, haha.

The little boots are from Topshop, they're very comfy and warm for winter. But since its suede, I can't wear them in the snow or rain.

We got some snow last week. I come from a city where it never snows, so I'm still amazed every time I see snow, haha. I've been given night shifts for 3 weeks, so my life as been insane, I feel like I don't have time for anything. I get home late, near 1am, go to sleep at 2am, sleep until noon, wake up and get shower, eat something, check my email and leave for work again. I don't like this kind of life. I like to wake up early, go to work, come back and do stuff, make dinner, take shower and go to sleep. I know I have the same amount of time to spend at home, but I can't seem to make a good use of it. I don't fit this kind of schedule. So I requested not to be given more than 3 night shifts anymore... I feel out of balance.

On a more healthy side, I've been eating loads of Oden and Nabe, so soothing for this cold weather. It's been an average of -3/-4 at night here in London and I'm not really used to it.

Hopefully I will go back to a more balanced schedule and find more time to blog, I have so much to say! haha

Pick - iPhone app

Does anyone know Pick? I am addicted! If someone has an account please ADD ME!

I am completely hooked on this! Since Instagram as become so popular I was experimenting with it a bit, but soon found this Naver app called Pick and completely forgot about Instagram. What's so good about Pick? Well, it is a Japanese app and most of the users are Japanese, which for me is a big plus, because I am a Japan sucker... And it is much more appealing than twitter (which I don't have) because you can edit the photos and add effects, borders and super cute stamps. It has a hot pick section which makes me want to check new pics every second of the day, you can "pick" photos, you can see how many other users picked your photo and you can follow someone or be followed. It is really fun and super easy to use! I love photography and Japan, so this app is truly made in heaven for me. The only cons is that it crashes sometimes, but not so often that would annoy me, just sometimes. So, if someone has or is thinking about getting Pick, please add me!! I need friends, I'm only following 2 people atm, haha.



I was away for a couple of weeks to get back to the simple living, it really does wonders, and now I'm back to the technology world, haha. Ciao!
